<p>Become Famous: Don’t Idolize</p>
<p>Idolizing people is one of the most dangerous things that most of us do.<br />
It is true that some people evoke awe, respect and admiration and it is<br />
likely that they become our role models, but even so it is wrong to<br />
idolize them. The main reason why we shouldn?t do this is because when we<br />
idolize a person they seem to be beyond our reach, we tend to believe<br />
that we can never be where they are. In idolizing others we seem to lose<br />
all our self confidence and morale which is absolutely wrong. The greater<br />
the number of role matters the worst is the situation, we believe that<br />
the people whom we idolize are a class apart we can never be like them,<br />
but in doing so we forget the sayings of Nelson Mandela who rightly<br />
pointed out that greatness is not in just some of us, it is in all of us.</p>
<p>Not every one is born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Look at the<br />
example of Rosa Parks. The lady, who is now famous for her civil right<br />
activism, was once just another citizen like you and me. Like all<br />
journey, even her journey began with a small, tiny but strong and<br />
determined step. It was an accumulation of these small but significant<br />
steps that led her to cover the distance that she has traveled. Today she<br />
is a leader and is respected by all. Just like her we can all find<br />
greatness amongst ourselves, all we need to do is to search within.</p>
<p>There are many such examples in the movie world. Edward Norton is one of<br />
the finest actors today. Born on August 18, 1969 he won the Oscar<br />
nomination for his role of an altar boy accused of murder in ?Primal<br />
Fear.? He went on to deliver the role of a neo-Nazi in ?American History<br />
X?. Edward is the grandson of the famous architect James Rouse and was<br />
brought up in Maryland. The fact that is most striking about Edward is<br />
that he just did not drop college to become an actor. He worked hard and<br />
is a successful graduate from the prestigious Yale University. </p>
<p>It cannot be denied that some people do have contacts that make their<br />
break in to the film industry much easier, but despite this the<br />
importance of passion, commitment and perseverance cannot be denied. For<br />
example Gwyneth Paltrow?s mom Blythe has been a stage and film actress<br />
and her father Bruce is a famous producer.</p>
<p>To add to the list of the celebs, she also Steven Spielberg as her close<br />
family friend. But the reason she won an Oscar for her role in<br />
?Shakespeare in Love? was her hard work and dedication. Her success story<br />
is known to all but not many know the secret to her success. In her words<br />
to get successful you have to do that thing which you like doing and do<br />
it with full passion.</p>
