?WordPress plugins and some of the popular plugins
There are a large number of plugins available for all WordPress users with the intention to enhance and improve their blogging experience. The number of plugins is increasing from day to day, but not all of the plugins are good for you as some may damage your WordPress installation or even harm your site. Some of the plugins that are worth trying out are:
1. Sideblog- this is a way to post short notes on the sidebar with options such as the number of entries to display, defining the sideblog categories and exclusion from RSS feeds. It is useful to post updates and sharing of links. Some of the options include cool themes, made the sidebars invisible from the search robots or adding feeds to the sideblog.
2. Secure and Accessible Contact Form- this is a plugin with a number of features such as extensive security with 16 individual abuse countermeasures, form an overview page to confirm the general configuration of the plugin, maximum accessibility and usability, option to use your own style sheet or extensive on board documentation library if you ever need any help.
3. Sociable- this plugin attaches a list of social bookmarking sites, which allows your visitors to bookmark and it is found at the end of your posts. It automatically add links to your favourite social bookmarking sites on your posts, RSS feeds and pages and you can choose from 99 different sites.
4. Gravatar 2 Plugin- this plugin allows the display Gravatar which is a globally recognized avatar of your commenters. This allows you to distinguish yourself from other users in an online community such as websites, forum or chat rooms. In WordPress, Gravatars are hosted on a single server by encrypting the user’s email address. You can have one avatar for each forum you visit.
5. Search Everything- this plugin allows you to search everything in the database as the default WordPress search engine does not search some pages such as static Pages or metadatas. There are options for you to choose, so you can choose what to search. Some of the options are to search every page, tag, category, comment, attachment, excerpt or non-password protected pages.
6. Admin Drop Down Menu- this is a very useful plugin as it saves you more time. Usually, you have to click a number of times to get from one page to another. With this plugin, just hovers the arrow of your mouse to the category that the page is located to save more time. Instead of going from one page to another before reaching the final destination, you can choose from the menu itself, which can inactivate a second menu from the first.
Do not be scared by the number of plugins available out there. The best thing to do is to do your research. Read blog posts, reviews or comments on the plugins which are widely available in the Internet. Choose those that will enhance your WordPress sites wisely.

?Choosing Your Niche

Too many people spend way too long debating on what niche they would like to create there next website on, and in a lot of cases people could have a website live in the times it takes them too choose a niche. There is no magical niche on the internet that is guaranteed to earn you money, the simple and plain fact is that you need too work hard to make money online. The niche you choose won’t reflect how much money you make at all.

You need to understand your niche, and by this I mean you should have an interest in the niche you choose. If you’re not interested in the niche you choose then you’ll quickly become bored of the work involved with making the site successful and in most cases you’ll just let the site sit there. If you have an interest in the topic you choose then most of the time it will seem less like work and more like a hobby. You’ll also be able to communicate with your audience, imagine how hard that would be if you have no interest in the topic you we’re writing about.

It’s very hard to sell something to someone on a website and you usually need to gain some sort of trust with the reader before they trust your website enough to buy anything. If you choose a niche where you can provide helpful, educational and unique content that nobody has seen before then there is a good chance you’ll have return visitors come to your website which can turn into potential buyers. If your content is just regurgitated information from another website then you can’t expect people to want to come back to your website because you’re not offering them anything out of the ordinary.

When you’re choosing your niche you need to make sure that you can picture yourself sticking with the niche and idea for months down the road. It takes months to even see the potential of a website so if you give up before this time then you’re not even giving your website a chance. This is what most webmasters do though and why they have dozens of blogs sitting on many hosting accounts all over the place.

Try too choose a niche and stick with it and you’ll see a lot more results then switching niches every week or every month. It takes determination in order too get your website up to the level it needs to be to make money and you need to ride the wave right until the end. You’ll be building links and adding content to your website on a daily basis in most cases and this means you’ll need a strong liking for the niche you choose.

Other niches may seem more profitable on paper, but if you don’t like the work you’re doing then there is no way you’ll be happy working on the site and you’ll give up. When you choose your niche you can do the normal keyword and niche research too see what’s profitable, but make sure that whatever you choose you can picture yourself writing about in the next year.

?Having a blog is something very common in cyber world. What makes a blog more superior than other millions of blogs is its friendliness with SEO. The acronym “SEO’’ refers to “search engine optimization” which means the process of improving and elevating volume of traffic to a website from search engines via normal search results. Blogs with better SEO gets heavier traffic and readership compared to the ones with poor SEO. In this case, WordPress websites are able to create SEO friendly sites.
Nothing beats WordPress when it comes to content management systems. WordPress works with themes that are CSS- based. Therefore, it is wise to pick SEO- compliant designs for WordPress which will propel your blog to success. Search engines prefer designs that are CSS- based whether you have a static site or content management systems. It is advisable to exclude Flash or large amount of Javascript because search engines do not read these well. Design features that take ages to load despite fast connection also makes your site less popular in search engines. WordPress countered the problem with its structured configuration that disallows too many design features.
WordPress is also very versatile when it comes to choosing themes. Choosing appropriate theme for you blog is very important to narrow down search. Themes or designs that are associated with certain keywords or keyword phrases are equally important. This is because when your site is indexed by search engines, they will actually review the blog contents and themes. WordPress makes this possible with its easy customization of blog themes. Whether it is Kubrick theme or custom theme, WordPress setup is so user- friendly that switching themes is not difficult to match your website. Your theme is a fundamental approach to appeal to search engines.
WordPress is SEO friendly with its easier customization of URL structure. Users can easily modify and edit their permalinks through WordPress dashboard. All they need to do is to go to ‘Customize Permalink Structure’ page and select ‘Custom Structure’ Option. The main purpose of doing this is to list the Post Name and Post ID number in URL to customize it as /%postname%/%post_id%/. After installing and activating Permalink Redirect WordPress Plugin, you are able to change your .htaccess file before updating your new permalink structure. Simple steps like these will ensure that only one URL is associated with one blog entry. This makes your WordPress URL very SEO friendly.
Furthermore, permanent texts on your WordPress front page make your website more SEO friendly. This can be achieved with WordPress template which can be easily modified to include a text box right under blog header. Bloggers just need to write texts that show up on permanent basis. Texts that are associated only with your blog makes your blog pop out in search results. From this way, your blog will stand out among crowds of other findings because of your significant permanent texts.
It is advisable to sign up for RSS feed for to optimize search for your WordPress blog. “Really Simple Syndication” of simply RSS is a feed format used for blog entries, news and headlines in a standardized format. Each update of your blog entry will be featured in mailbox of people who subscribe to your feed. Also, with RSS feed, it is easier for people to track down your blog titles. WordPress makes RSS customization a simple job with its clear instructions that even beginners can follow. Resolving your RSS customization would mean that the chance of your blog entries being found in search engines is rather high.
To make your WordPress more SEO friendly, there are many plug- ins that you can install. There are as much as 24 plug –ins that WordPress bloggers are recommended to install. Although having a matched theme for your website is sufficient, you can always make your website outstanding since your downloaded theme might be used by other bloggers too. WordPress bloggers can install Akismet, All in one SEO Pack, Feed Copyrighter Plugin and Homepage Excerpts. These plug- ins make your website popular to readers as well as appealing to search engines.
In conclusion, the presence of your blog among a sea of other blogs does not mean that yours will be engulfed quite easily. Making your blog SEO friendly solves the problem easily as well as creating a path to your blog success in long- term.

?Of WordPress and Widgets

One of the world’s largest blog hosting sites, WordPress, achieved its status by offering users with loads of features, apparently more than its competitors do. However, one feature that truly sets them apart from the rest is WordPress Widgets which is quite simply, the use of widgets on WordPress blogs.

Widgets are basically plugins or tiny applications which can be placed on your blog’s sidebar. In WordPress, the most convenient aspect of putting up widgets is it is easily done without the need of html or web page editing expertise. With the ability to add and arrange widgets at your fingertips, it’s you can get your blog to look the way you want it to be making it a personalized one indeed in no time at all.

There are also huge amounts of widgets available online apart from those available in WordPress and can be obtained from websites such as www.widgetbox.com. Other than providing you with widgets of all sorts, they provide you guides on creating your own widgets to truly add a touch of personality and originality. These guides are even handy for the really tech-savvy individuals like developers and theme and plugin authors. Widget creating is important for them who work for WordPress as they have to keep tabs on the thousands of people from over 130000 blogs many of whom are constantly downloading WordPress programs each day.

With the use of Javascripts as well as Ajax, widgets are quite simply little boxes which represent content elements located within the sidebar of your theme. One downside to this is that once the widget is what it is, its look and the way it works can’t be modified. Among the elements which come as standard are;

Archives – A collection of links for older posts sorted by month.

Blogstats – A display of statcounter as well as a record of the amount of traffic coming into your blog.

Calendar – A calendar which dates can be used as links if there were any entries posted on that date.

Categories – A list of categories for post sorting and searching purposes.

Links – Quite simply, a blogroll arranged according to their respective categories.

Pages – A list of links to every page.

Most Recent Posts & Comments – A list of the most recent posts as well as comments that have been approved.

Meta/admin – A collection of links directing you to meta functions such as logging in and logging out, entries and comments RSS, Site Admin and WordPress’ homepage.

Search – A search tool to search within your blog.

Text – A feature allowing the insertion of HTML, Javascript or simply any form of plain text and can open up possibilities for miscellaneous text widgets.

Another interesting thing is the ability to add RSS feeds sourced from elsewhere using the new widgets available. With functions like these, the uses of widgets encompass almost every thinkable thing where only your imagination is the limit. However, too many widgets may not only cause your blog to slow down, but may end up spoiling the look of your blog as it is never advisable to have too much of a thing and this includes widgets.

?Knowing the difference between Do-Follow and No-Follow Links

Not everyone knows the difference between a do-follow link and a no-follow link, but they are two links that differ by a lot and you should make sure you know how they differ. If you have no-follow links then the links won’t be counted towards any search engine rankings, but if the link is do-follow then you will get a boost in your search engine rankings for the given keyword phrase that the link is under. Do-follow links is the only type of links that will help you when trying to help you search engine rankings or when trying to raise your page rank. Not a lot of the links that you build will be no-follow and if you’re wasting your time on building no-follow links then you need to reconsider how you’re spending your time.

When you comment on a blog you should make sure that you spend time only commenting on the blogs that have do-follow links enabled. Usually a blogger will show you that their blog is do-follow by showing some image near the comment box that says something like U-Comment – I-Follow. This means that the blog should be do-follow and that the links will count towards helping you in the search engines. Not too many bloggers allow this though on their blogs, and when you do find them it’s hard to find any pages on the blog with page rank that you can comment on. Finding these links is over half the battle that you will face when searching for these links, but once you have them then you can re-use them on all of your blogs which can help you out in the long run.

Certain links on many of the social bookmarking sites are also no-follow, but these should still be pursued by you as a blogger because they offer an initial traffic surge. It only takes a couple minutes to do and will help your blog in the long run with building an established traffic base. Even if a link isn’t do-follow it can still be profitable pending it brings you in a lot of clicks, so sometimes it’s wise to get some links in high traffic areas even if they are no-follow links.

Most of your links that you’ve built in the past will most likely be no-follow links since there always abundant and easy to get. Once you find a couple high rankings pages that have do-follow enabled though then you should be able to increase your page rank and search engine rankings with just a couple links. It’s not always the amount of links that matters for search engine rankings as you’ll learn. For instance one of my blogs has thousands of no-follow links and is PR0 and another one of my blogs has roughly 100 backlinks and is a PR4 because it has strong do-follow backlinks.

You should also make sure that you remember the use of the different links when you blog on your own blog as well, because there is no point giving someone a do-follow link when they shouldn’t get one. If all of the links on your blog are do-follow then it could also hurt your search engine rankings simply because of all the outgoing links that you will have on your blogs. If you make the link no-follow then it won’t be credited a backlink from your blog which means that it won’t hurt your page rank or rankings in the search engines at all. Often people need to use a link in their blog posts which if you post daily can add up to a lot of outgoing links fairly quickly, so to avoid this make sure you use the no-follow attribute when adding your links to your posts.

?The 3 most important blogging tips beginners should certainly consider

You have decided to start blogging as do many people? On this point, there are some important things you should certainly take into consideration to ensure your success, regardless of the blogging area.

1.	Start blogging on the niche for which you have a passion or in which you are an expert.

Do you know why most of beginner bloggers fail? Because of the 2 most common reasons: One of those reasons is that they do not choose the niche that fits them best.
So, as you understood, the first important step is to choose the right area. Many people tend to choose the most profitable niches even though they do not expertise in those fields. As a result of that, most bloggers quit blogging just at the beginning, as it seems them to be a hard job. But if from the beginning you choose the area for which you have a passion, and something to share with others, then you will most likely succeed. If you enjoy your job, you’ll be able to achieve all your goals you have set to reach by blogging.

2.	Be persistent in blogging and do not quit just at the beginning.
The second reason of the blogging failure is that many new bloggers give up this great job in a short time. All beginners want to be winners, but they forget that blogging is not a get-rich-quickly scheme, though sometimes as an exception to the rule, some bloggers can get solid profit just in a couple of weeks. So people, looking for an easy way to earn money, get disappointed and quit this undertaking. To be successful, it is not enough to desire it, it is essential to be persistent in work you’ve just started up. Actually, tenacity is the main key to success in any work.

Create a weekly blogging schedule and strictly follow it.
Irregularity is the third obstacle that may cause failure not only for beginners but also for experienced bloggers. What to say about beginners, when sometimes even skilled bloggers may need some motivation for posting on daily basis. It is needless to say that fresh content is not just king but vital for the success in any business.
You can fix your chaos by making a list of daily posts you are going to do for one week. Determine and write down the titles for the next 5-7 days in advance, and then strictly follow that weekly plan. If you do it regularly within several weeks, then you’ll be able to turn it into a daily habit in a short time.

So do not be a quitter if you want to be a winner. The main secret of the other bloggers making huge profit from their blogs is just their persistency in the blogging. If they were able to do that, then you can also become the owner of profitable business, just by sharing what visitors look for and want to read in your posts.

?What You Need to Successfully Run a Blog Network

A lot of bloggers who run either one or a few blogs have been looking into expanding their reach and creating what’s known as a blog network. There are lots of companies who own blog networks nowadays and more are created each day, but only a select few of them are well known and profitable. You can’t expect too be able too run a blog network on your own and that’s the main mistake a lot of bloggers are doing. They think that they can do everything, but the fact is there is only so much time in a day and you won’t be able to do everything needed by yourself if you want too become successful. The one thing all the profitable and well known blog networks have in common is that they outsource a lot of the tedious work and capitalize on cheap outsourcing rates around the web.

Outsourcing too international countries has become a popular way for webmasters too get work done for the lowest possible rates and it’s vital to a blog network. If you want to run a blog network you’ll need an entire team of people working for you, and you’ll basically need to spend your time managing the workers and also working on the small details.

To have any success with a blog network it will take a lot of time as you need to establish each one of the blogs in their market. This isn’t an easy task for one blog let alone multiple blogs so make sure you’re ready to put in the time and work. The first thing you’ll need to purchase is a server in which you can purchase C-Class IP’s with because you’ll need quite a few of these. You should put each blog on there own C-Class IP as it will only cost you roughly $1 per month per IP which is definitely worth it. You don’t want the blogs on the same IP because then Google might see them as a link farm and could punish them severely without any notice. You’ll also need to purchase all of the domains you want to use and set them up on WordPress each on there own IP. Once this is done you’ll need to begin outsourcing too get the blogs going.

At first you’ll only need to be concerned about content and should you hire a couple freelance writers to complete some article packs for you on the niches you’ve chosen for your blog network. Add the articles to post on the blogs once daily and timestamp each article accordingly so that you don’t need to go to each blog each day to make the post. In these early stages you’ll want to make sure you install all your stat counters so that everything is ready to be tracked. Once the content begins too compile on the blogs and they start getting indexed in Google then you’ll need to start finding link builders to build some links. You won’t need too many links in the beginning and should only get a few of them so that you gain some SE recognition. A lot of links can be built down the road for free once you become popular so don’t spend too much money on link building. The most important part to spend money on is the content and you should make sure you have lots of it.

There is a lot more to running a blog network, but this guide should give you a brief outline of what you’re thinking about getting into. Unless you have a fairly nice budget then don’t even consider doing it because you won’t stand a chance. You’ll just burn yourself out quickly and then become bored with blogging in general. You can’t do something that isn’t possible so realize early that if you want to run a blog network you’ll need to outsource most of the work. This means you’ll be running in the negatives for the first few months and then you may start moving into the green. There is a chance you won’t even move into the profits though and this is the risk you take when starting a blog network.

?Adding Valuable Content to your Blog

After you have chosen your theme and have all the wordpress plug-ins you want to use installed then you need to begin writing content for your blog. Without any content there is no value to your readers so make sure you add a good amount of posts to your blog in the beginning. Typically I will spend the first week writing three posts a day and submitting them to social bookmarking websites. This will allow you to have roughly twenty posts on your blog and all of them should be indexed from the social bookmarking.

Twenty posts is a good amount of content to start off with and after the first week you can begin writing only one post a day. This will give you more time to market and promote your blog to the masses of people out there looking for information. We’ll talk more about this later in the guide as for right now I want to talk about the content you write.

Either you or a writer will be doing the content creation for your blog and you’ll need to decide this on a few factors. You’ll need to make sure you have time each day to write a blog post and you’ll also need to have some writing capabilities. If you have neither then you might want to consider hiring a writer for your blog. Of course this costs money and takes away from money you could be making so if you can I would write your own blog posts. This way you can become more involved with your blog as well since you’ll be writing the blog posts.

Don’t expect just to throw up short meaningless articles on your blog and expect the traffic to start pouring in. You need to add valuable content to your blog that isn’t found elsewhere often. If you just regurgitate what everyone else talks about then you’ll find it difficult to get readers since they read it elsewhere also. You need to have content that people can’t find and is valuable to them. Your blog posts should be anywhere from 300-1000 words a piece depending on what you’re going to talk about that day. Some topics will require more detailed posts while others can remain short and to the point. Make sure you always offer some value in your posts though. For instance you can offer many things in your posts and you should focus on only one per post. You can write about news for the day, an educational topic or an opinionated topic. You can also write about how your day is going and whatever else you want at the bottom of your posts. This will help for the people reading your blog to relate to you. If the people can relate to your life then they will typically stick around and become a regular reader and contributor to your blog.

Once you have the initial surge of content indexed and ranking in the search engines you’ll start to see some search engine traffic. If you have chosen good topics then the number of visitors could be very large and it’s consistent. Your content is what will make you money online as a blogger so make sure you spend long enough writing your posts. Keep things like titles and keywords in mind when you’re writing the post so that it’s optimized for your needs.

Writing is easy if you open your mind a little bit and once you start writing on a topic the posts will begin to flow out of your mind. It’s always smart to write a handful of posts, I recommend a week worth and keep them stored away in a document. This way if you get sick or go on vacation for a week you can load the pre-written posts to your blog and have them posts on the same schedule that you usually post them at. This way you don’t miss any days of adding posts to your blog as it could result in lost readers if you do miss writing for a few days.

?Flipping websites

Flipping websites is something any noob can do. But before you start you should be taking a pledge that – you’ll be selling your site – if you are getting profit. That should be the only aim of yours from now on – if you are thinking of flipping websites. From now on, don’t create sites for keeping it with you – you should create sites planning to sell them for the best price. The better the site and the domain name, the better will be the profit that you’ll be seeing from them. There is no need of keeping sites for long. But it will have advantage when selling – if the site is with traffic. But there is no use of getting traffic and all, if your aim is to flip sites.

I’m not completely against – getting traffic to sites before flipping it. But you should do these things on a rapid manner. Your aim should be to create more and more sites. This way, you’ll see money coming in your pockets pretty fast. And using this money, you can make these things done by others. Yes, you can hire professionals who are experienced in making sites. You can hire separate professionals for writing content, designing the pages, driving traffic etc. And when you do things this way, you’ll be able to create more sites per month or even per week.

Again, as a website flipper, never create sites to keep it with you. Create sites to sell off for profits. If you register good domain names, then the profit that you’ll be making after selling the sites would be much higher. Some buyers give more preference over the domain name rather than the content or design of the site. So, keep these things in mind. If you start flipping sites, you’ll surely be making some easy money online. And one more thing, don’t start hiring workers now, do that only after you make some money by flipping your first 10-20 sites. By then you’ll be having money to hire them and pay what they ask. Don’t hire cheap workers – hire those that are qualified to do those works. Again, don’t spend any money out of your pockets. First of all, earn some money by working on your own. Then using the profit that you got, hire workers and earn more.

?Budgeting Your Best Option

Most people are stressed over high credit card bills, and high interest rates and monthly payments.

People usually cringe when they hear the word budgeting. There really is no need to. You can relax about it. In fact, budgeting is the only way you will be able to have peace of mind and take control over your finances and avoid bankruptcy.

With budgeting, you will learn how much you are currently spending and how you can successful decrease your expenditures to help you make good savings for the rainy days.

You are spending on a regular basis. Home payments and maintenance, utilities, auto maintenance and payments, insurance payments, child care and alimony, education, food, clothing, entertainment and travel are just few of the many things you spend your money on regularly.

In today’s expensive living, budgeting should be practiced to give you power to rapidly gain control over your complicated spending. Your budget will help you in the development of your personal budgeting process, regardless of how much money you earn. Truth be told, it is not how much money you earn that you should concentrate on when making a budget. Instead, pay more attention to your spending.

Do you feel like no matter how much money you earn in a month it does not always seem to be enough? If yes, it means that you are not living within your means. You regularly discover that you have come up short again. The agonizing thought of your bills and debts have made your paycheck almost practically worthless. Well, it is high time you begin making your budget now.

The easiest way to get started on budgeting is to formulate a very basic list of your monthly income and expenses. The former is easy, it is basically your paycheck and the money you make from your other jobs. The latter needs more details. You can start by listing the things you can easily identify (for example, rent, car, insurance, alimony, utilities, etc.).

Budgeting properly entails tracking all your expenses. The cash expenses will be difficult to keep record of if you are not aware. Lunches, coffee, parking ticket, beers, movies and the like are hard to remember unless you write them down as soon as they are incurred.

As you go on with your budgeting, you can add more categories. Modification is constant for spending is not only limited to your regular expenditures. Irregular expenses include travel, gifts and charity, among others. You can add them to your list whenever the need arises.

As soon as you make your budget, be sure to make your budget a dynamic document for success. It should not be part of the huge pile of mess you leave in your table at home or at the office. It should be your reliable tool to manage your actions and decisions in support to your finances.

Budgeting means wise spending

For example, you can beat the high cost of dining out. According to surveys, families and singles eat at restaurants at least four times a week. Help yourself and your wallet from screaming in agony by doing your groceries well. And even if you cannot cook, there is still help that awaits you. Look for recipes in the internet that will not only save you money but time in preparing meals. You can expand your menu by reading cookbooks, magazines and newspapers, and even by asking friends for their recipes.

In budgeting for a week’s meal, list all the things you need to buy and bring all the coupons. This way you will not only save money from not eating out but buying in bulk at the supermarket as well. The total cost of eating food at home is definitely less than you were spending fancy meals at a restaurant.

Saving for the future is a constant and sweet reward of budgeting. In budgeting, you will be able to build your savings. You can use payroll deductions and bonus incomes, looking around for the best interest rates, and improving your spending habits. You can add up to your savings by doing little things that can help you: save lunch and coupon money, take advantage of sales, saving your loose change, and being willing to compromise especially when there are other bills that call for your attention and money.

Bankruptcy could be your way out if you have exhausted every single option you had. But remember that it does not only affect your credit but it can cause you problems in your application for insurance, employment and even home renting.

Therefore, bankruptcy is not an option, budgeting is.
