    I agree.

The patriot act should be disolved, and the few good parts, put into a new bill.

I hated the start of the Iraq war, but we can’t just leave. We are slowly moving out, lets hope it continues.

Afgan has finally restarted after 6 tears of doing nothing there. So far McChrystals plan is working. I hope for Agan’s sake, and ours we succeed. If not we need to leave.

Our military needs a break and rebuild

@ HereinLasVagas: You are right that this is a poor forum for a debate. The gaps in time between posts makes it difficult to keep track. Our discussion has shown me that it is all too easy to get thrown off. I can see how sound bite debating just seems to devolve and the whole point of the movement is to return to civil discourse and even civil disagreement. So, I’m going to move on to another discussion. All the best to you fellow American.

  3. SuperBluecollar says:

@savemyplaylist: Good question. But, maybe phrase it like this; where was the American peoples representation?

  4. MrNeo2001 says:

The best way to start to exercise your power as an individual, is to shut out or turn off ALL opinion shows, such as what you see on Fox News, MSNBC and CNN. Look at facts, not opinions, and apply what you believe to the democratic process. There is pressure today moving in the direction of making the very Constitution obsolete, as Americans it’s our patriotic duty to ensure that never happens. The Government should fear its’ people, not the other way around!

  5. HereinLasVegas says:

Thank you SuperBluecallar, I too wish you the best.
And I want to say a special thank you for your civility, something that is sorely lacking in this place most times. Plus these little boxes are a pain to type in.
You know, in the end, I think we are probably a lot closer than you might think, we need to drop the defense of party for the sake of the party and look toward real soultions to the problems that our parties have caused us. They caused all of this, we the people will have to fix it.

  6. HereinLasVegas says:

    “20% – racists.” BS

  7. MrNeo2001 says:

Tea Party was hijacked as was most of the garbage your shill hero Glenn Beck spews….ALL of anything with any allure on the right was stolen from the Ron Paul people and exploited on Fox.

  8. MrSTANDFORAMERICA says:

@Blairtim69 under the bill the obam’s going to push through, even those union workers are going to lose their cadillac plans. And be stuck with the Obama plan.Democrats have been screwing over the unions for years and yet the union leadership keep backing them.
If you look, most of the union leadership are the ones that what a one world government, one world healthcare by that government. That’s what I was told by the AFL-CIO, then the next day I went by tye union hall and dropped from the rolls.

  9. SuperBluecollar says:

Perhaps we regular folks should start a campaign to send a message to the media. How about a “Turn Off the Media Day”

  10. BHOsux says:

@MrNeo2001 Hey MrNeo, I have news for you ….. I VOTED FOR PAUL!!!

  11. badneighbor1 says:

Coffee party was created by a former campaign worker…..guess who she campaigned for.

  12. krrrruptidsoless says:

So I guess that’s a wash then….from the gush of water…wash water. Forget it.

  13. savemyplaylist says:

    @MrNeo2001

    Ain’t that the truth

  14. aeuiono says:

I haven’t seen these much astroturf since the last time I saw a Rams game.

  15. jwka2001 says:

    ZING!

  16. jwka2001 says:

The bitch who created the coffee party is a known obama organizer and also worked for NYTIMES…so she is obviously a shill for obama and the dems. I dont like the Tea Party, not since it was taken over by fox news and republicans. At least it started out honest,, this coffee party, is starting out already in bed with big gov,,,

  17. aag0597 says:

    To jwka2001:

The Bitch you speak of is some one’s daughter, sister or mother and i think you would do good to remember it.

Now as you say she worked for Obama, was it paid work or volunteer work, she worked for the NYTimes i guess thats worse than working for Dick Army or Grover Norquist or Fox.

You are you who these people are speaking of and the sad part is that you do not see this.

  18. growapair says:

Sham. Who wants to join a movement of another lie? Grow up and realize that your vision was absolutely horrible.

  19. badneighbor1 says:

Is the White House really this desperate?….if you can’t make it, fake it

  20. oscarwildinthestreet says:

@jwka2001 Wow. She is a bitch? Why so? That seems kind of extreme. And she is not a shill from what I’ve read. So what if she voulentered for Obama. Would you have expected her to vote for McCain? Lots of Americans voted and campaigned for Obama.

  21. aeuiono says:

Clearly Annabel Park is a self-loathing woman.

What does it tell you about this woman who hates to see women like Sarah Palin or Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter?

Clearly Annabel Park has stockholm syndrome. This is about hating women who run for vice-president, straight up.

If the Coffee Party isn’t racist, then where are the black faces? Where are the people of color? Where are the gays? Have you no shame, sir? I play with baseball cards in the bathtub.

    …See what I did there?

  22. aeuiono says:

Then where will you get news?

All news is corrupted by opinion, even the news wires.

You think the AP and Reuters doesn’t slant? Get real! Just do a google search for “AP unexpectedly” and see the shills for yourself.

You can’t separate opinion from news, bc people report the news and all people are biased.

The real answer is to listen to the news and the opinion from multiple sources, be an adult, and use your BS-detector. And keep learning, reading political philosophies, etc.

  23. tubaboy71 says:

you are part of a republic and also your base is totally fake grassroots. your “leader” is a Senator Webb + Obama operative FAKE. You want socialism move!

  24. tubaboy71 says:

I wonder if this is like the fake Tea Party candidate in Nevada? Democrats are desprate!

  25. MrNeo2001 says:

@ aeuiono You can separate facts from opinions and there is a difference between a news reporter and a news personality. Glenn Beck is NOT a news reporter, nor is any of those opinion show commentators on rival networks to Fox. If you want to watch a documentary about the news media watch “Orwell Rolls in his Grave”. By selectively filtering news coverage (Choosing facts) the viewer’s perception becomes controlled. You sound educated enough to understand propaganda and media manipulation.
