he had the most amazing voice in the world, he had the most intense lyrics in the world, he was the most amazing person in tne music world- God I miss him so much!
2 ya basia I share your sentiments to the fullest I love JB’s voice so much, I think of him everyday it’s wierd since I first heard him and saw him in Austin, Tx 1995. Listen to that what beauty like spring opening up in a single moment.
I loved Jeff SO much, his voice was just other wordly. I’m writing a screenplay at the mo’ and I’m using this song in it. It’s a tragic love story about a catholic priest and his forbidden lover. Lilac Wine is played in the scene where the priest commits suicide and in his drunken death throws he sees his murdered lover come back for him to take him to heaven. I just think this song suits the mood of it so well. Hope it’ll get made into a film, it would rock!
JB you are missed xx
@LisaLoops Because sometimes the obvious does not need to be corrected. Have you heard of the saying “Same thing, different gravy”…from a oldie to a youngy xxxxx
why can’t you just enjoy his music?if you don’t like what i said, fine but that does not mean it is a blasphemy…i’m sorry if i offended you,but those are MY feelings and MY thoughts. i didn’t mean to hurt anyone.peace.
I remember seeing him play,he wasn’t at all famous yet & most ppl didn’t even know what he looked like, they just heard his voice once or twice & so had to come to the gig [Grace was released that day]
While waiting in that little bar,I turned to my left & there he was, looking back up at the stage like everyone else with that humble look on his face
I wanted to start talking to him but no,for I would hav drawn attention to him,so laughed & just let him be,cause I knew he could never do that again
god was too envious of you, jeff. that’s why he took you from us. you are more heavenly than any angel.

People that use words like blasphemy are guilty of crime against humanity. There is lot of proof of that.
