		<description>Bleeding the coffee is a stupid idea that people who don&#039;t know much about espresso used to do. Basically it means you discard the first few seconds of the shot (which is actually the best part) because in theory you are bleeding the coffee of it&#039;s badness.

I&#039;m pretty sure this originates from old Italian coffee makers with very dirty machines and not great water who needed to bleed the machine of it&#039;s build up of crap before letting the espresso run into the cup.

Either way, not a great idea</description>

		<description>Try using a bit more espresso and tamp harder or better yet adjust the grind finer. Without a top quality grinder you&#039;re sunk though.</description>
