For more information go to: www.coffeepartyusa.com Coffee Party USA gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

” Cloward-Piven instructed activists that if a crisis did not exist, promote or manufacture one by exaggerating a benign or unthreatening predicament. In doing so, contrived commotion would serve as a tool to convince the masses of their urgent need for rescue. In order to achieve the ultimate goal, students were encouraged to stress the social system to the breaking point, which would quash capitalism and institute socialism through a massive infusion of government intervention.

The tea party that dropped the money bomb on Ron Paul in ’08 & the “tea party patriots” of summer of ’09 are two VERY different things. The current one is a front group of insiders, ignorant racists & old scared white fat folks. They’re funded and stoked by big business (oil/gas/coal, banking, pharma & big insurance) & promoted by Fox News (major donors Australian billionaire and Saudi Royal family/& the same big businesses) who is kept on the air by donations more than ad revenue.

  3. Corporations8MyBaby says:

Glenn Beck makes nearly ZERO DOLLARS in ad revenue but they subsidize him for the viewership. Ron Paul people are fighting shadows. Glenn Beck people are being used. The Tea Party today is about fear of “the other”, division, hate and causing Obama problems getting anything done. Shame on you grandma. This Coffee Party looks interesting if they are serious about standing up for the PUBLIC part of “republic”.

  4. LigDom09 says:

In looking at how the government at the federal and state levels have performed, and at the results of ‘progressive policies’.. I’d say common-sense dictates smaller government.

  5. Sarge714 says:

    @Corporations8MyBaby

    That is a great phrase!

We are going to re “Public” the republic

Putting the “Public” back into the republic

    I like it!

    Good job

  6. LigDom09 says:

After self-described Black Nationalist & Communist Van Jones’ tiny group Color of Change threatened a boycott. Becks $1,000,000 ad revenue from some large corporations {CVS, Clorox, etc} was cut by about 60%. 60% of a million is not ZERO. Beck’s veiwership of over 2 million among the ‘public’ was not affected. For comparison, Maddow and Olbermann have less than 970,000 veiwers.

  7. LigDom09 says:

The advertsers never left Fox itself. Obama Czar Van Jones’ threat was toothless. Actually, many advertisers stayed to no ill affect.
After hearing from the rest of the ‘public’ after the fact, ad pullers back-pedaled. Many issued statements saying they had not pulled the ads because of Color of Change, but because they were were put in that slot by mistake in the first place.

  8. LigDom09 says:

Glenn Beck’s actual statement concerning Obama’s racism, based on Obama’s 20 year paticipation in a Black Liberation Church & anti-white quotations from his books still stands as true.
You want to comment on Black Nationalist Czar Van Jones? How about your take on those Black Panthers Holder is refusing to prosecute for voter intimidation?

  9. LigDom09 says:

Btw is a shame you aren’t as factual Beck.
WTF? Murdoch’s new station in the Mid-East in which a Saudi Prince owns a 5% share, does not equate to Fox News being “kept on the air by donations more than ad revenue”. Your statements are “false”, i.e not true, wrong, in disagreement with reality, absurd. Congrats, you’re a Liberal!

  10. LigDom09 says:

Oh, and let’s not forget your baseless, ridiculous accusations about “racism” while making racist statements about White Americans. Guess what your posts say about people who are interested in the Coffee Parties? The same as Puno’s, nothing good. Did you learn we were a CIVIL DEMOCRACY back in Second Grade, too?LOL Make my arguments for Government getting out of education for me, why don’t you?
Your ideological opponents love free speech and open debate for the same reason you hate it. : )

  11. LigDom09 says:

There’s nothing more well meaning than corrupt politicians of the Chicago thug variety, right, Corp?
And aren’t you just as arrogant and snotty as that Arab in the other video? That is a member of the “PUBLIC” you are talking to, and we’re going to put PUBLIC back in REPUBLIC, remember?
Too bad for you, there’s alot of us in the PUBLIC. and we’re not taking kindly to people who can’t solve their own personal problems yelling ‘get of my way’ on their way into our pockets.

  12. ibilldavis says:

    are you white or black?

  13. LigDom09 says:

    Are you asking me?
I’m a 38 year old self-reliant white single mother with 2 daughters. One teenage daughter, & the other is all grown up.
    I’m also a Libertarian, a mild agnostic & I love big dogs. : )

    {And I love it when Puno and Corp make baseless assumptions about me! LOL You gotta love it when Corp calls me Gramma!!}

    But thank you for asking.
    How about you Bill Davis?

  14. ratcheer says:

@Corporations8MyBaby oops sorry I hit the ‘down’ thumb by accident! my apologies and since I can’t seem to go back I hit the ‘up’ thumb in another post.

  15. ZapatismoUSA says:

this is going to be a complete an utter failure. a reactionary group to the Tea Partiers will be manipulated by the media into just that: a reactionary group. I wonder how many of these coffee partiers will be willing to march to washington, DC, march to their state’s capitol and make coherent alternative to the neoliberal policies that are at the heart of our economic and political woes. Good Luck. p.s. the US Social Forum will be in Detroit on June 22nd this year.

  16. MrPatrioticUSA says:

The Tea Party is a movement organized to change goverment policies on taxes. The Coffee Party is a organized movement to counteract another organized movement.

    Which one will last?

The Tea Party actually stands for something. The Coffee party is just a bunch of butthurt liberals getting together because they are close-minded idiots who can’t tolerate another person’s opinion.
This is basically an indentical twin to the OFA (Organizing for America), another liberal drone army.

  17. IvanDripsOoze says:

fuck that MOCHA PARTY FOR LIFE, ANTI REPUBLICAN ANTI DEMOCRAT, ANTI TEA AND COFFEE MOVEMENT, FUCK YOUR MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEXES!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. samandmargenofive says:

What are you people talking about? The Tea Party movement is a reactionary movement to Obama. The Coffee Party movement is purely and truly grassroots. It is a pro-Obama, pro-Democratic, pro-Progressive movement. We do not hate, mock, lie, distort or use fear-mongering talking points to attempt to bring down a Presidency. Your strong reaction to our movement is proof that is is substantial and real.

  19. AGTW31 says:

samandmageandfive, your group is a bunch of bourgeious hipsters with a college degree and no job.
the meeting is at a retail establishment gabbing about things they have no control over, while drinking an overpriced beverage imported from another country.

  20. DebbieE413 says:

So? 2 million people willing to be duped by Beck? They are so misguided. He continues to make an idiot of himself. Let him. I sure don’t care. Maybe he can leave the country with Rush Limbaugh. Good riddance.

  21. LigDom09 says:

I don’t do anything more than read his website now & again. I don’t always agree with him, he thinks I’m a fringe nut. I’m a Libertarian.

My point was , what was said wasn’t true! And lo! and behold..like most ilLiberals, your response contains no civil discussion or substance.. just insults & hatred towards others you’re not capable of debating..
How about you Libs go? It’d raise our collective IQ, and we could be rid of the welfare state, big government, and idiot, uninformed voters.

  22. slainte26 says:

Not sure what this group is about unless it is about the status quo. To continue to feel that the government is an expression of “our collective will” sounds almost cliche. Its as if the supporters are more concerned with feeling good about themselves instead of demanding responsible, Constitutional-based change. The non-partisan Tea Party movement is a reaction to irresponsible government and is to address excessive government spending and taxation. Responsible voters are welcome.

  23. LigDom09 says:

No, the TEA Party is the silent majority standing up to demand that the Government return to the boundaries defined within the Constitution. It is a demand that Government cease to interfere in peoples private lives.
Government does NOT know what is best for me and my family, I do.

    You’re not substantial.
We just want to make sure that the Left, whether Democrat or Republican, can’t create another echo chamber for itself.. as it has with our State Run Media.

  24. slainte26 says:

    Sorry, It’s Tea Time!

  25. dirttrain says:

COFFEE AND COMMON SENSE— USE THAT LOOSE CHANGE FOR 9/11 TRUTH!!!
