If the woman gets checked out, it will take a lot more testing and more money to have this done and time ofcourse.
There could be many factors as to why you have been unsuccessful at becoming pregnant but why sit around wondering when all you have to do is go to the doctor and perhaps this could be resolved in a matter of time, resulting in you and your partner finally gaining the ability to conceive. It is a life changing experience and do not miss out just because you were too afraid to find out what is going on. It may not be something serious and the more time you wait to get checked out, the more you are prolonging ever getting to have your own child.
There are many tests that can be completed to help you in fighting your infertility. The woman can have such tests done by her gynecologist. One test is called the rubin test. This test is where they check to see if the fallopian tubes are working properly. They will put carbon dioxide directly into your uterus, tubes and peritoneal cavity to find out exactly how the tubes are working, or if they are at all. They will listen to the sounds going on in your stomach and if the amounts of gases on the pressure gauge exceed 200 mm they may then determine that something is wrong with your fallopian tubes.
Other tests can be completed after you discuss things with your doctor, upon your first initial visit. They will help in guiding you in the right direction so that you can hopefully be more certain of why it is you have been unable to become pregnant. Infertility occurs all of the time but knowing what the cause is can be quite difficult. Sometimes there may never be an answer to this question. But trying all that you can to determine this is worth your while, in case they can resolve this issue for you. Infertility can cause problems between couples if they do not talk with someone about it.
There are answers normally and you and your spouse working together and staying in close communications with one another and with a doctor can help make this whole thing much easier to deal with. If you do find out that there is no answer to your infertility then you may now begin to discuss your other options with your doctor, there are many other options available to you, for having a child of your own.
